Um. You know, I'm really tempted -- since the first time you told us about it, to be honest, -- but I'm also a wuss sometimes. Is there anything one should know/acquire before becoming an editor? (Despite the obvious love for comics and basic HTML skills, which would be sufficient, I guess (http://community.livejournal.com/comics_de/profile).)

The template is already created--you just read through the watcher community and code up your issue by supplying information in the blanks. It's pretty easy, once you do it a few times :-)

We exist primarily to list to fics on Livejournal. If you've posted a link to your fic on an LJ comm on our watcher journal, we may link to that. It always depends on the day's editor and their discretion whether or not to link things :-)

slashfest opens for claiming at 12:01 AM EST on October 20th and remains open until October 24th at Midnight. There is quite a variety of fandoms represented from comics including Batman and X-Men.
